CCIA Attending Cultural Philanthropy Exchange in Hawaii

On 2nd-5th January, 2014, Mr. Zhang Bin, President of China Cultural Industry Association, attended a Sino-U.S. cultural and educational philanthropy event in the state of Hawaii, where Mr. Zhang Bin conducted in-depth exchanges on international hot issues in the process of globalization with philanthropy celebrities from U.S. and China, of politic, culture, education, science and technology, finance and environment fields. In communication, Henry Paulson, former United States Secretary of the Treasury; Mr. Richard Rockefeller, Chairman of Rockefeller Foundation; and Mr. Charles Morrison, President of East-West Cultural Center, wished to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with China Cultural Industry Association and President Zhang Bin.

Later on 4th January, Mr. Neil Abercrombie, Governor of Hawaii, hosted a banquet for President Zhang Bin and his team in the state residence. Mr. Neil Abercrombie welcomed President Zhang Bin and wished to maintain friendly relations with China. He expressed the hope to have more Chinese enterprises and social organizations of cultural industry coming to Hawaii for travel, visit and cooperation.

Mr. Neil Abercrombie, Governor of Hawaii presented President Zhang Bin with Hawaiian souvenir.

Mr. Richard Rockefeller, Advisory Trustee of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, introduced the fund to President Zhang Bin.
