Niu Weilin

Professor Niu Weilin, born in November 1951 in Feidong County at Anhui Province.
Mr. Niu graduated from Huainan Mining College (current Anhui Technology University) in 1976. He worked as teacher at the same university where he later received his master degree by on-job study. In January 1986, he was transferred from Huainan Mining College to the Education Department of Mining and Industry Ministry, and successively held the position of vice manager, manager, deputy director of education, and deputy director of Enterprise Reform in National Mining Industry Bureau. Then Mr. Niu transferred to Renmin University of China in October 2000 and served as vice principal, and then Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and vice principal. He currently serves as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission. His major social title also include: member of National and Beijing University Setting Council, Managing Director of Chinese Association of Higher Education, vice president of Industry and Education Analysis and Cooperation Branch of Chinese Association of Higher Education, vice president of Beijing University Communist Party Building Seminar, member of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Beijing committee.
Professor Niu has been engaged in education and industrial education administration work for years. He has systematically and deeply researched in these fields. Professor Niu has published a number of dissertations and research reports in his field, recent dissertations including “Some thoughts on University Educators Recruiting and Team Building ”, “The Human Resource Strategy of Siemens ”, “The Characteristics in Principals of World Top University and their Enlightenment”, “Thoughts on Set up and Practice the Scientific Outlook on Development in University” “An Tasteful Analysis on Leading Character in Chinese University”. He also took charge to translate thebook “The Best 357 Colleges”, and published his own book “The Theory and Practice in Building the International Creative Industrial Park”; The above provincial level research projects that he is in charged include “The Theory and Practice in Building the Creative Industrial Park”, “Zhongguancun Scientific Park Spatial and Land Use Planning in Eleven Five-Year Plan”.
