Mr. CHEN Shifu, Major General, a Master graduate of Science of Strategy from PLA Academy of Military Science, is the President of China Poetry Calligraphy Painting Seminar, President of Calligraphy and Painting Committee of China Cultural Industry Association, Committee Member of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Director of Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits, Senior Adviser of China Institution for International Strategic Studies, Director of Chinese Society of History of Communist Party of China, Adviser of China Central State Organs of Painting and Calligraphy Association, Vice President of Research Association of Painting and Calligraphy of the Aged people of China, Member of China Writers Association and Member of China Artists Association.
Mr. CHEN Shifu has engaged in landscape and flower-and-bird paintings for many years. His works have been collected and hung in the Zhongnanhai Compound, Great Hall of the People and other important venues, and sent to foreign guests as gifts by the government and PLA. In addition, his books, such as Run A Silent and An Analysis of China’s Several National Security Issues, and songs, such as Unforgettable Military Life and The Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, have also won many awards.
