Established in January 1994, Dalian Sun Asia Tourism Holding Co., Ltd（hereinafter referred to as “Dalian Sun Asia”）is the pioneer of the aquarium of the third generation in China, a pace setter of the ocean and polar theme park, and the only listed company of tourism sector in northeastern China with 7 holding subsidiaries, 4 join-stock companies, more than 400 employees, the total assets value of RMB 700 million and the annual revenue of more than RMB 200 million. 

Sun Asia has been focusing on tourism for years and has the following scenic spots now in operation:

In Dalian: Sun Asia Ocean World Scenic Spot (which is a Grade AAAA scenic spot including four venues, namely, Sun Asia Ocean World, Polar World, Coral World, and Deep Sea Legend), Dinosaur Legend (which is a multi-media interaction experience project), and Dino Land(which is an outdoor theme park for children).

In Harbin: Harbin Polarland Park (which is a Grade AAAA scenic spot and a wholly owned subsidiary of Dalian Sun Asia).

Dalian Sun Asia has a unique mode of training talents and a healthy team of technical staffs in the aquarium industry. With undoubted technical edges in such fields of penguin or sea calf breeding, Dalian Sun Asia is the only national level base to breed Antarctic penguin and the first aquarium in China to have research on the release of sea calf with satellite marks.  

Moreover, Dalian Sun Asia has been adhering to the integration of cultural connotation and entertainment value in terms of artificial landscape, marine life exhibition and animal performance for the tourists to experience and understand the ocean culture in their tour.  

At present, Dalian Sun Asia is promoting the construction of the ocean culture industrial chain via developing the ocean theme books, cartoons, educational software and puzzle games with the children as the target consumers in combination with constructing children theme park and derivatives to make Dalian Sun Asia an important ocean culture industrial base not only in the northeast but also in China.
