Haian 523 cultural Industry theme park, which covers an area of 1500 mu and invests ￥5 billion, is a classic human landscape scenic which is based on oil production, sales, exhibition, training and seted on tourism, leisure and other functions. The park is divided into six plates and twelve functional areas.The six plates are art education, production and sales, landscape tourism, cultural ecology, community service and cultural living. The twelve functional areas are trading market, art institutions, occupation training center, artist village, the theme square, contemporary art museum, exhibition hall, office center, recreation center, Chinese and Western cultural diet street, cultural and ecological residential community, cultural theme hotel and so on. 523, taken on the speech from Mao Zedong in Yanan Forum about literature and art on May 23, 1942, illustrats that culture and cultural industry development is the eternal theme of a national strategy. Culture and art should service for all workers and peasants.

Haian 523 cultural Industry theme park, has be named Culture Industry Demonstration Base of Jiangsu Province , Nantong Cultural Creative Industry Gathering Zone and has twice received Jiangsu Province cultural industry supporting fund of Jiangsu Province in 2010. On December, 2011, Donghua University, Fudan University listed in 523 and following it has become practice base of many colleges and universities. We held the cross-strait exchange exhibition about art and design in Taipei on February 4, 2012. In the same year, 523 was named the National Culture Industry Demonstration Base and National AAA Scenic Spot. It has become China Youth Art Talents incubation base.

The two phase of the project, covers an area of 94 mu and invests about ￥500 million to create a set of art market and the artist residence which will form a nationwide only artists-cultural human residential structure humanistic park. And it will lay a solid foundation for 523s′  sustainable management.
